Dr. David Keith has worked at the interface of technologies, climate, and public policy since 1990, and now leads the Climate Systems Engineering initiative (CSEi) at the University of Chicago. David provides an overview of the field of climate systems engineering, offers thoughts on how sunlight reflection might fit into a larger climate strategy and particularly how it relates to carbon removal, and discusses practical engineering aspects of stratospheric aerosols and open ocean alkalinity.
